Probably the best student model flute available has now been improved even more, with the addition of attractive French style pointed cup arms.
The YFL212 is frequently recommended as a student instrument. It is designed specifically to allow learners to get a good, clean note quickly.
This model is the version that includes a curved head for younger players with a shorter arm reach. The curved section is contained in a side pocket. When the student is ready, they can then move onto the standard straight head, which is also included in the case.
Featuring the same high-grade design and craftsmanship as the 300 and 400 series models, 200 series flutes are made of durable nickel silver with an attractive silver-plate finish. They are characterised by excellent response and intonation.
Featuring a double flare taper and a unique embouchure hole undercut design for excellent response and a warm rich tone, the CY headjoint helps beginners quickly learn to produce a beautiful sound. More advanced players will appreciate its even, quick response in all registers.
Key posts have been thickened and redesigned for improved durability and strength to maintain accurate rod alignment.
All key shapes and placement have been ergonomically designed for a comfortable, natural-feeling performance. The keys are hand-assembled and adjusted for perfect balance and touch. Now featuring French-style pointed cup arms for the professional look.
Yamaha's unique screw resistance inserts allow smooth adjustments while preventing gradual loosening of the screws. For easier access, the screw positioning has been changed.
Footjoint alignment marks facilitate proper fitting by young players.

Pianos - Delivery is FREE within Great Britain for all pianos. The price you see is the price you pay. We use a courier service and aim to have most things delivered within 3 working days.
Doorstep Drop-off only. Pianos are delivered flatpack, usually on a pallet, for self assembly. Please be aware that if you choose our courier service for larger items such as digital pianos, the courier is not contracted to carry items up any steps or stairs. If there are stairs leading to the front door of the delivery address, or you live in an apartment which is not on pavement level, it is your responsibility to arrange for transportation from the pavement level to the delivery address. Please be aware that the box can weigh 60Kg to 120Kg. We recommend that that you have help to move the box to the room of your choice from two or three able-bodied persons. In this instance, the delivery driver may, at their own discretion assist you in carrying the parcels into the delivery address, but they are not contracted nor obliged to do so.
Piano deliveries in Sussex - Subject to availability, we are often able to offer a free, pre-arranged timed delivery and setup service within 50 miles of our shops. With this option pianos are delivered and assembled in your home and the piano is left ready to play.
