The result of the collaboration between the Buffet research and development workshops and many internationally renowned clarinettists, the Divine is Buffet's flagship clarinet. This collaboration developed new acoustic research and the result is a fantastic instrument.
The Buffet Divine is the latest evolution in Buffet's RC bore range, making this Buffet's top model clarinet. This new range of clarinet represents a major step forward in Buffet Crampon's history, by fusing technical expertise with unparalleled craftsmanship in French wind instrument manufacturing.
Tone hole placement - The Divine has the same hole placement as the Tosca model, allowing for better intonation in every register.
Bore - The improved bore favours flexible register-crossing and freer blowing during the most demanding pieces. The Divine clarinet comes with two barrels - 65mm (442hz) and 66mm (440hz) – which fit with both the Bb and the A model.
Grenadilla Wood - The Divine is made of grenadilla wood, with specific upper joint Green Line tone-hole slots eliminating air leaks on tone-holes most prone to crack.
Carbon Wire - The carbon wire (a Buffet Crampon patent), which replaces the metal rings, makes the clarinet 60 grams lighter and thus contributes to its exceptional balance with greater vibration and freer blowing.
Low F Correction Key - As with the Tosca model, the Divine clarinets are equipped with a low F correction key. New keywork and spatulas enhance the clarinet's ergonomics without destabilising the musician's capabilities.
Please note, the Divine does not come with a mouthpiece as most professional players have their own preferred mouthpiece. The mouthpiece and ligature pictured is an example only.
The Buffet Divine clarinet comes in a stunning, unique hard double case, which complements the exclusivity of the instrument. The case has a brushed aluminium effect lower half and a black leather effect upper half. Lockable, push to release clasps ensure your clarinet is well protected. A fabric outer cover with carry handles and shoulder or back-pack straps makes it easy to carry. There are 2 inside pockets and an outer zip pocket, as well as a separate accessory wallet. There is also a luggage strap.
Our Divine clarinets are Buffet Artist selected for us in the factory. Current stock is selected by Eric Baret and comes with a certificate.
Orchestral Instruments - Delivery is FREE within Great Britain for all instruments. The price you see is the price you pay. (Instruments over £100 are always sent by our Express service, regardless of the service selected in the checkout.)
Pianos - Delivery is FREE within Great Britain for all pianos. The price you see is the price you pay. We use a courier service and aim to have most things delivered within 3 working days.
Doorstep Drop-off only. Pianos are delivered flatpack, usually on a pallet, for self assembly. Please be aware that if you choose our courier service for larger items such as digital pianos, the courier is not contracted to carry items up any steps or stairs. If there are stairs leading to the front door of the delivery address, or you live in an apartment which is not on pavement level, it is your responsibility to arrange for transportation from the pavement level to the delivery address. Please be aware that the box can weigh 60Kg to 120Kg. We recommend that that you have help to move the box to the room of your choice from two or three able-bodied persons. In this instance, the delivery driver may, at their own discretion assist you in carrying the parcels into the delivery address, but they are not contracted nor obliged to do so.
Piano deliveries in Sussex - Subject to availability, we are often able to offer a free, pre-arranged timed delivery and setup service within 50 miles of our shops. With this option pianos are delivered and assembled in your home and the piano is left ready to play.
